Every so many years in my spare time I get to contribute
something to the body of medical literature. In the last few years I got a chance to edit the arthritis section of the Physicians
Guide to Nutrition for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
The 896 page book is being distributed to 19,000 medical
students through out the USA. Each chapter gives short answers on disease states
as well as how nutrition can play a major role in prevention and treatment. Those of you who have known me for some time know
that I have always recommended nutritional ideas in my therapy. It is quite exciting to think that my ideas regarding omega
oils, glucosamine , and other supplements and vegetarian diet may help the next generation of doctors to help patients control
their arthritis symptoms through nutritional means.
